Recommended Pool Noodle Size

Our handles are designed to fit pool noodles with a center hole between 20mm and 25mm (about 0.8” to 1”). Most standard noodles you’ll find at places like Target or Walmart work great—just avoid the jumbo-sized ones.

When cutting your noodle, we recommend lengths between 16” and 26”. Anything longer can put stress on the insert, and honestly, it’s not as fun to swing around!

Are the pool noodle swords safe?

Our foam swords are designed for fun, active play and are recommended for ages 2+ with adult supervision. The pool noodle blades are soft and lightweight, making them great for safe swordplay. However, the handles are made from rigid PLA plastic — so while they’re durable, improper use or hard impacts with the handle could result in injury. We always encourage gentle play and supervision, especially with younger children.

Do the pool noodle swords hurt?

Not really! The pool noodle blade is made from soft, flexible foam and is generally safe for gentle play. A light tap won’t hurt — but like any toy, rough or aggressive swings (especially to the face or head) can still cause discomfort. That’s why we recommend playing responsibly and always with adult supervision.

Do you provide the pool noodle?

No, we don’t include the pool noodle — but they’re super easy (and inexpensive) to find! You can pick one up at stores like Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, or order online from Amazon. Just make sure it has a 1” (25mm) center hole to fit our handles.
